Dr. Viera, education nominee, is the Superintendent/President of Citrus Community College District. He was formerly the President and Executive Vice President of Fullerton College, and the Dean of Educational Services at Chaffey College. Dr. Viera is on the Boards of the Boys and Girls Club of the Foothill (Monrovia); Hands, Hearts, and Horizon, Incorporated; EYE-DAS; Glendora Kiwanis; and the Community College League of California. He is President-elect of the Association of Community College Administrators. Dr. Viera was appointed to the L.A County Workforce Investment Board in December 20, 2005.
