			*Paula Starr*

	Ms. Starr, Native American nominee, is the Executive Director for Southern California Indian Center and is a member of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce. She has 18 years of experience in workforce development. She was formerly a Health Educator for the American Indian Free Clinic, and taught in the Lynwood Unified School District and Garden Grove Unified School Distict. Ms. Starr was appointed to the L.A. Workforce Investment Board in October 31, 2006.
